Measured on against liyonajohny.com with Lighthouse 13.5.0, the engine behind Google PageSpeed Insights, using its standard mobile and desktop settings. A scheduled job re-measures the site and publishes the result, so the date above moves on its own rather than when I remember to update it.
Why
What keeps the numbers here
Nothing exotic. A handful of decisions made at the start and checked on every build.
-
No web fonts
The system font stack renders immediately with zero bytes downloaded and zero layout shift.
-
CSS inlined, JavaScript small
The stylesheet ships inside the HTML, so there is no render-blocking request. The only script is about 3 KB compressed.
-
Images sized for the screen
The portrait is served as AVIF or WebP at the width each device needs, with dimensions reserved in advance.
-
No third-party code
No analytics, no tag manager, no chat widget, no embedded fonts. Nothing on the page waits on another company.
-
Static HTML from a CDN
Every page is built ahead of time and served from the edge. There is no server to wait on.
-
Checked on every build
A verification script fails the build on missing metadata, skipped heading levels, or a broken sitemap.
